About Peptide Vault

Last updated September 6, 2026

Peptide Vault is an independent reference for people trying to work out whether a peptide is worth considering, and what the evidence actually says before they decide.

## Why this site exists

Search almost any peptide and you get two kinds of page: vendor copy that reads like a supplement ad, and forum threads where a dozen people confidently contradict each other. Neither tells you the thing that matters, which is how much human evidence exists and how good it is.

That gap is the whole reason this site is here. Every compound page answers the same practical questions in the same order: what it is, what the research actually shows, how it has been administered in studies, what the side effects and risks are, who should not use it, and whether it is legal to obtain.

History and mechanism come at the end, because they are context, not the decision.

## What we are, and what we are not

We are a small, independently funded publisher. We are not clinicians, and this site is not medical advice. Nobody here will tell you what to take.

We do not sell, test, resell, or handle peptides. We have no lab and run no assays. What we do is read the published research, the regulatory record, and the manufacturer documentation, then write down what they support and, just as often, what they do not.

Where a compound has almost no human evidence, the page says that in the first paragraph rather than burying it under a mechanism section. That is a deliberate editorial choice and it is the main thing that distinguishes us from most of what ranks for these searches.

## How the site is organized

Compound reviews cover individual peptides — what the research shows, dosing as studied, safety, legality, and where each fits.

Ranked goal guides compare the compounds people consider for a specific goal, such as recovery or weight loss, ordered by strength of evidence rather than popularity.

Guides answer the practical and procedural questions: legality, reconstitution, injection technique, what to make of the GLP-1 market.

The regulatory tracker follows the status changes that affect whether these compounds can legally be obtained at all, which in this category changes faster than the science does.

## Evidence ratings

Every compound gets rated Moderate, Limited, or Emerging, describing how strong the human evidence is. Most peptides sold online land in the bottom two tiers, and we would rather tell you that than dress up an animal study as a finding. The criteria are on how we rate evidence.

## Independence

The site is funded by affiliate commissions, and that arrangement never touches a rating, a ranking, or a limitation. The full explanation, including what we refuse, is on how we make money. Our standards for sourcing and claims are on editorial policy, and the production process is on how we research.

## Get in touch

Corrections are welcome and we act on them. If a page contradicts a source you have, send us both and we will fix the page or explain how we read the evidence differently.
